The HOGA will take place from 13 to 16 January at the trade fair exhibition grounds in Nuremberg and is the outstanding branch event of 2013 for the Southern German hotel and restaurant business. It also serves an important function as the order market and forum of information before the new season begins. In addition, the HOGA is an important barometer of the mood of the branch at the beginning of the year. 

The last HOGA visitor survey (2011) produced tree interesting results:  

• two-thirds of the HOGA visitors purchased directly at the fair
• 52,2 % were deciders with purchasing authority and 
• 52 % of the visitors said that they would not be visiting any other hotel and restaurant trade fairs in Germany except the HOGA Nuremberg

The last HOGA visitor survey (2011) produced two interesting results: 

• 70% of the HOGA visitors orderd directly at the fair
• 52,2 % were deciders with purchasing authority and 
• 52% of the visitors said that they would not be visiting any other hotel and restaurant trade fairs in Germany except the HOGA Nuremberg

The Nuremberg trade fair centre is an international exhibition and convention centre. It is easily accessed by all means of transport. The airport has the advantage of being very close to the city. Direct feeder roads connect the motorways, the city and the surrounding region and lead to the designated parking areas. There is sufficient space available for parking on the street in the Grosse Strasse and in the multi-storey car park. For rail passengers, there are IC and EC railway connections reaching Nuremberg hourly. You can access the trade fair fast and comfortably through its own underground station (U, stop at Messe), with a bus service or by taxi to the iENA. Underground trains: U-Bahn: take the blue line U1 or the orange line U11 in the direction of Langwasser Süd and exit at the “Messe” station.
