The HOGA Nürnberg hospitality trade fair, a specialist exhibition for the hotel, catering and commercial kitchen sectors, takes place every two years at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre and is Bavaria’s major industry gathering as well as a source of inspiration for the hospitality sector. The professional organiser of HOGA is DEHOGA Bavaria.

The next HOGA will take place from 17 to 19 January 2027 under the motto “The visit that transforms your business” and will serve as the meeting place for the hospitality industry: over 500 exhibitors will present products, solutions and innovations for the hotel, catering and commercial kitchen sectors. Once again, it will be the trade fair for gathering information, making purchases and experiencing product innovations first-hand, as well as for networking with colleagues, suppliers and service providers.

From food & beverage, hospitality and interior design, through kitchen technology, to services and IT solutions, HOGA offers inspiration and practical ideas for day-to-day work. The focus is on current industry topics, digital innovations, regional specialities, as well as non-alcoholic drinks and spirits.

Stage programmes, workshops, talks and cookery demonstrations provide opportunities for professional exchange and entertainment. Well-known chefs showcase the latest trends and offer practical tips for day-to-day work.

At the HOGAnovum, start-ups present forward-looking ideas and innovative concepts. The winners and finalists of the Gastro Innovation Award 2027 will also be in attendance.

HOGA is accompanied by the Service-Bund’s FOODSpecial trade fair, which complements HOGA with a wide range of food offerings, ranging from reimagined classics to the latest trends and product innovations.

Supported by more than 100 industry partners, who present their innovative products to an interested, discerning audience from the food sector – the hotel and restaurant trade, catering, bulk buyers and institutional catering – thereby demonstrating their comprehensive capabilities in service, consultancy and product range.

HOGA is a trade fair for restaurateurs, hoteliers, canteen and casino operators, commercial kitchen buyers, chefs, caterers, butchers, bakers, confectioners, patissiers, café and bar operators, service staff and food truck operators.

HOGA is reserved for professionals from the catering, hospitality and institutional catering sectors. However, as a visitor, you do not need to provide proof of your affiliation with these sectors.

Please note: as with all trade fairs, direct sales to end consumers are not permitted.

There will be a varied programme of events.

• Admission ticket for a carer?
  The carer of a person with a severe disability who has a ‘B’ on their disability card can attend the trade fair free of charge. This free ticket can be obtained from the box office upon presentation of the disability card.
   
• Disabled parking spaces?
  Visitors with a ‘disability badge’ (displayed visibly on their car) will be directed to the relevant parking spaces on Große Straße on arrival. The parking spaces are located in the immediate vicinity of the entrances to NCC OST.
  Access to the entrances is adapted for disabled visitors. 
   
• Recommended visiting time: from 11 am
   
  • NCC OST Entrance:
    • “Travelling by car”: NCC East Entrance
    • “Travelling by DB”: Alight at the main station and take the U1 underground line (towards Langwasser) for 8 minutes to Messe underground station. From there – NCC Mitte – please take the free shuttle bus to the NCC OST Entrance.
    • “Travelling by underground”: at NCC MITTE, take the free shuttle bus to the NCC OST entrance

For hygiene reasons, you are not permitted to bring any animals with you. Guide dogs are an exception to this rule.

You are permitted to bring a medium-sized rucksack or a trolley; there may be brief bag checks at the entrance if necessary.

• You can also leave your trolley or suitcase (for €2) at the cloakroom in the OST entrance. However, if the crowds in the exhibition halls become too large, you may be asked to leave your rucksack or trolley at the cloakroom.

No, travel on VGN transport services is not included in the trade fair tickets.

HOGA is a trade fair for professionals in the catering, hospitality and institutional catering sectors. We advise against bringing children to the fair, particularly young children. There are no childcare facilities available.

• Children under 15 enter free of charge and can collect their tickets from the on-site ticket offices.
• Children’s day tickets are only valid when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

As a buyer, you will need your own email address to create a user account. Through your user account, you can access your tickets at any time and use it for future purchases.

Those without an email address can purchase a ticket on the day of their visit to the fair at the venue.

The invoice will be sent as a PDF file to the email address provided during the ordering process.

After purchase, you can download your ticket as a PDF file or save it as a digital ticket in a compatible app on your smartphone and have it scanned on entry.

No, the day ticket entitles visitors to a single visit to HOGA / FOOD Special per day. Once you have left the exhibition grounds, the ticket cannot be used again on the same day.

If you need to interrupt your visit to the exhibition in an emergency, please contact the exhibition management before leaving the grounds.
